Camden Co. Sheriff to investigate alleged crimes by county government employees
The Camden County Sheriff’s Office Friday said it has launched an investigation into allegations of criminal activity by county government employees.
The Sheriff’s Office said it will not comment on many details of the investigation at this point, but said investigators are working closely with representatives from the prosecuting attorney’s office.
It also said it could eventually ask for the Highway Patrol’s help in the investigation to avoid a conflict of interest.
