Two more charged in alleged armed robbery

Two more people werechargedfor a Columbia robbery that happened earlier this month.

Scott Johnson, 30, and Ashley Willis, 31, were arrested in Lee’s Summit and transported to the Boone County Jail Friday, according to the Boone County Sheriff’s Department.

Police confirmed Johnson and Willis were wanted for a robbery on January 10 on Alpine Drive.

At that incident, police said 22-year-old Jasmine Sykes asked a male victim, who was once her boyfriend, to come to her residence so she could buy an Xbox gaming system. Once the victim arrived, Sykes apparently offered him sex.

Police said after the two had sex, a man came into the home with a gunand forced the victim to the floor.The suspect then struck the male victim in the head with the gun. Police said the victim was uninjured.

Multiple people were allegedly involved in the incident including Sykes’sgirlfriend, Lexus Herndon. Police say the suspects stole the Xbox, the victim’s cell phone and items from his car.

Police say after the robbery, Sykes left the residence withthe suspects.

Police later arrested Herndon in Jefferson City. Herndon reportedly admitted herinvolvement in the robbery. Police said she also admitted Sykes’s involvement in the robbery.

Authorities arrested Sykes Wednesdaymorning in the 2500 block of East Business Loop 70.

20-year old Lexus Herndon is charged with first degree robbery, and 22-year-old Jasmine Sykes is charged with first degree robbery and armed criminal action for the incident.

One of the men reportedly involved in the robbery was also arrested, but his name was not released by Thursday night.

On January 15Lee Summit Missouri Police Department stopped Willis and Johnson in Lee Summit, Missouri and arrested them in reference to the robbery on Alpine.

Johnson and Willis are in the Boone County Jail each on a $75,000 bond. ABC 17 News checked on Monday and Johnson and Willis are charged with first degree robbery.
