Driver arrested in DWI crash
ABC 17 News has confirmed with police that Brittany Woods was arrested for driving while intoxicated Saturday night after crashing into another vehicle, closing the entire roadway.
Boone County emergency officials sent out a Nixle alert around 8:20 Saturday night about an accident on the 3100 block of I-70 Drive Southeast. Police say it was a two-vehicle accident.
According to officers, Woods was driving under the influence and hit the other car.
Woods was arrested for DWI and has since bonded out of jail. The driver she hit was not taken to the hospital. Both cars involved were towed from the scene.
