Man arrested for allegedly breaking into a mid-Missouri church on New Year’s Eve

Callaway County officials filed new charges on Wednesday against a suspect wanted for breaking into a mid-Missouri church.

The sheriff’s office claims Thomas Seay, 28, of Fulton, broke into The Lighthouse Church New Year’s Eve near County Road 147 and Highway 54 north of Kingdom City.

Seay is facing charges of second-degree burglary and felony third-offense stealing. He was already under the supervision of the probation and parole board at the time of his arrest.

He has other past convictions for stealing in both Callaway and Audrain counties.

Investigators believe more charges could be coming in the future.
