Woman charged for exploiting elderly man
A Columbia woman is facing charges after allegedly exploiting an elderly man.
Jennifer Caldwell had her first court date after police learned about the victim this month.
Caldwell lived with the man at the time.
Officers said she asked him to cash a check and give her some of the cash, but it was actually from a bank that doesn’t exist.
