Man killed after colliding with tractor on Highway 54

A Mexico man was killed Monday morning after colliding with a tractor on Highway 54 in Callaway County.

The crash happened shortly before 10:30 just east of Callaway County Road 147.

42-year-old Edward Estes was driving an SUV eastbound on Highway 54 and rear-ended a tractor that was traveling slower, also heading east.

Estes was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after the crash, and the driver of the tractor received minor injuries.
