New Bloomfield man pleads guilty to child molestation
A New Bloomfield man pleaded guilty Tuesday to molesting two children between 2010 and last year.
Robert Pope was sentenced to 18 years in prison on four different counts.
Officials said the victims were 5 and 8 years old when the abuse started.
Pope will have to wait 15 years before he’s eligible for parole.
Similar charges for Pope are pending in Miller County for the same investigation.
