Two Sedalia residents killed in Jackson County crash

Two Sedalia residents are dead after a crash in western Missouri Saturday.

It happened around 12:00 a.m. on Highway 50 in Jackson County.

Aven Cozad, 94, drove off the side of the road, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The car went down a ditch and flipped.

Aven Cozad and passenger Bernadine Cozad, 84, were pronounced dead on scene.
