Parts of I-70 were temporarily closed Tuesday morning

The westbound lanes along I-70 near mile marker 119 were reopened Tuesday morning.

Missouri Highway Patrol Corporal Scott White tells ABC 17 a vehicle hit a deer, partially blocking a lane. Another car then ran into the vehicle that hit the deer.

Both lanes were temporarily closed. There weren’t any injuries.

Our crews at the scene say emergency vehicles were still passing along both sides of the westbound lanes around 7:45 a.m.
