Missouri legislator evaluating Judge Joyce for impeachment

Missouri Representative Rocky Miller, who serves Miller and Camden counties said Monday night he’s reviewing the Aaron Fisher case to see if Judge Pat Joyce should face articles of impeachment.

The accused child rapist who confessed on a video to sodomizing a five month old child was released last Friday.

Joyce cited there were to many delays and his right to a speedy trial was violated.

Miller said, many of those delays were caused by Fisher’s own legal counsel.

Miller went on to say, Judge Joyce made the decision to release him back into society with out even the benefit of a trial.

Miller said, “This appears to be the height of incompetency for a Circuit Court Judge in Missouri and I will be reviewing her performance to verify that it has risen to the level of impeachment.”

The Missouri Constitution places the duty of impeachment of judges in the hands of the House of Representatives with a trial before the Missouri Supreme Court after Articles of Impeachment are approved.
