Crews battle house fire in Holts Summit

Fire crews responded to a house fire in Callaway County Thursday morning.

The fire started before 9 a.m. at the single family home in Holts Summit.

The two homeowners and their two pets got out safely.

The fire was at a home off State Road AA and is now contained.

Crews from Holts Summit, New Bloomfield, and South Callaway Fire responded to the scene. There were 15 personnel and six apparatuses.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. The amount of damage is not yet known.
