Four students taken to hospital with minor injuries following Eldon school bus crash
Eldon Police have confirmed a school bus accident in Eldon Monday afternoon.
Highway Patrol told ABC 17 News the crash happened around 301 E. 4th Street near the Hardee’s restaurant at the intersection with Business Highway 54.
The school bus was stopped to drop off students when it was rear-ended by a pick-up truck.
Corporal Scott White with the Missouri State Highway Patrol said a four students were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The school district commented on their website saying safety is their first priority, and the bus driver followed all proper protocol.
