Columbia Police releases results of DWI checkpoint

The Columbia Police Department has released new totals Monday from its latest DWI checkpoint.

It started just after 11:00 p.m. Friday and stopped around 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

The checkpoint was at Creasy Springs Road, north of Business Loop 70.

65 drivers were stopped, and one was arrested for drunk driving.

Three people had felony arrest warrants, and one person had a stolen gun.
