The Heat and Humidity Are Back To Bring In the First Week of September

As September quickly approaches and the summer season nears its last few weeks, hot temperatures are not expected to make an exit from our region, at least for this upcoming week.

As an upper-level ridge that has been residing over states just to the west of Missouri begins to make a shift eastward, it will bring above average temperatures coupled with more humid conditions for this upcoming work week. Highs are expected to rise into the upper 80s and lower 90s. Dew points are projected to climb into the lower 70s, making conditions feel increasingly uncomfortable.

In addition to the heat, Mid-Missouri will see plenty of sunshine this week and will be void of any chance of storms through the next seven days.
