Rain chance Friday, heating up next week

We have been enjoying dry and mild weather the past few days but some changes are on the way as we head into the weekend. An upper level disturbance will move in from the west, bringing a chance of rain as early as Friday morning with a spot shower possible north of I-70.

Most areas will be dry during the day Friday but spotty showers & t-storms are possible by evening and overnight. These will be very “hit and miss” with most moving through after 10 PM.

Temperatures will be mild for the high school football games Friday evening with a slight chance of a shower or t-storm. You might want to pack the rain poncho just in case one moves over your location.

Rain moves out by early Saturday morning leaving us with dry weather for the weekend and warming temperatures Sunday through early next week. Temperatures will climb to near 90 by Wednesday.
