Warmer for the end of August, start of September

We will continue to have cool nights and warm days through the work week with afternoon high temperatures staying in the lower 80s. The 30 year average high temperature is 86 for the end of August which we will reach Sunday.

Spotty storms are possible Friday with a slight storm chance again Saturday as an upper level wave moves through. Once that passes, temperatures will start climbing with dry weather for the start of September.

The outlook for the first week of September shows above average temperatures. The 30 year average high for the first week of September is 85 on the first to 82 on the 7th. Medium range forecast models keep us dry until the 7th of September when storms move in from the north.
