Teens injured in car crash on Route V

Two Camdenton teens were injured in a car crash Saturday afternoon. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, David Schlenfort, 17, lost control of the car while driving around a curve on Route V.

Troopers said the car went off the side of road, hit a tree and flipped.

Schlenfort and a 14-year-old passenger were both taken to the hospital. Schlenfort was then flown to University Hospital in serious condition.
