Columbia library reopens after flea infestation

The Daniel Boone Regional Library in Columbia opened back up its doors after being shut down for a flea infestation.

The library opened at 9 a.m. Saturday after a third treatment to exterminate the fleas was successful, Mitzi St. John with the Daniel Boone Regional Library said.

A cleaning crew was also in the library Friday night.

The building was closed for three days.
