Governor appoints new treasurer for Boone Co.

A Columbia business owner will soon start a new position with Boone County.

On Monday, Governor Nixon appointed Thomas Darrough as the Boone Co. treasurer.

The position opened up after Nicole Galloway was selected as Missouri State Auditor.

Darrough has owned and operated Tom Darrough Construction LLC. a residential and commercial construction company since 2002.
