Police investigating after teen was shot in Jefferson City

Jefferson City Police are investigating after a teenager was injured in a shooting Monday night.

The 16-year-old boy from Fulton was shot in the arm before midnight in the 500 block of East Elm St.

Someone drove the boy to the JCPD police station, where he was then taken by ambulance to a hospital.

Police found evidence of the shooting at the scene and interviewed witnesses.

No one has been arrested yet.
