Crash on Route BB kills one, injures five others

A car wreck in Callaway County left one person dead and injured five other people Sunday.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said it happened around 8:45 a.m. at Route BB and Old U.S. Highway 54.

The highway patrol said a car with five passengers was hit by another vehicle as it was crossing Route BB. The driver of the second car, Billie Lister, 62, was killed in the crash.

Emergency crews took the five passengers in the other car to University Hospital.
