Man killed in crash west of Columbia
A man thrown from his car in a crash west of Columbia has died.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said it happened one mile west of Midway on U.S. 40 just after 10:00 p.m. Friday.
The highway patrol said Ricky Pulis, 59, from Columbia drove off the right side of the road. His car flipped over, throwing Pulis from the vehicle.
Emergency crews took Pulis to the hospital. He was pronounced dead at 11:40 p.m.
Pulis was not wearing a seat belt.
