Man dies after kayak overturns in Gasconade River
A south central Missouri man is dead after his kayak overturned in Pulaski Co.
Troopers say Douglas Etheridge, 50, struggled to get back into his kayak around 4:40 p.m. Thursday in the Gasconade River near Richland, about 40 minutes southeast of Camdenton.
He was pulled from the water and pronounced dead at Mercy Hospital in Lebanon.
