Striping work to be completed on I-70 in Boone Co.

MoDOT is wrapping up work on I-70 in Boone County Wednesday night.

Crews have started re-painting lines on the side of the highway, but everything should be done by Thursday in Boone Co.

The paint trucks only move between 8 and 12 miles per hour. They’ll be east of Columbia from 8:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.

After midnight, they’ll focus on the stretch between Columbia and the Missouri River bridge.
