Highway Patrol releases BWI checkpoint results

The results are in from a weekend BWI checkpoint at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Troopers said they stopped a total of 95 boats during the checkpoint Saturday.

Out of those stopped, seven were arrested for boating while intoxicated.

Officers also gave out one ticket for not having a boater’s safety education card, and handed out 9 warnings.
