Crews working to clean up storm damage
Boone County Public Works is working to remove several fallen trees after an early Sunday morning storm.
A tree also fell on top of a mobile home on Prathersville Road. The Boone County Fire Protection District and ambulance services responded to the home just after 3 o’clock Sunday morning. Officials say no one was injured inside the home.
Around 8 o’clock Sunday morning public works crews were called to Friendship Church Road in Hallsville and Pickford Place in Columbia to clean up the trees. Both roads were temporarily closed while crews worked.
Another fallen tree blocked Old Rocheport Road just off Highway BB.
