Columbia business approved to get tax breaks

Kraft Foods will now get tax breaks in Columbia after Boone County commissioners approved the request Tuesday morning.

The company asked for a 75% tax break for 10 years as they spend millions to upgrade equipment and infrastructure.

It was also revealed at the meeting that the Columbia IT Department won a national award.
