An additional charge has been filed against a Columbia man indicted for giving heroin to a 16-year-old girl who died of a suspected overdose.

Jon Patrick Washington, also known as “Doom” was charged by a federal grand jury for allegedly supplying heroin to Morgan Myers in April 2014.

Wednesday’s indictment alleges Washington rented a room at the Providence Inn and Suites for the purpose of manufacturing, distributing, and using heroin from April 1 to 3.

Columbia Police responded to Providence Inn and Suites on April 3 where they found Myers unconscious.
