Boone Co. man arrested for assault, endangering child welfare

A Mid-Missouri man is in the Boone County Jail after threatening to hurt a woman over the weekend.

33-year-old Jason Wallin was arrested late Sunday night.

Boone County deputies responded to the 5300 block of St. Charles Road.

Wallin and the woman were in a relationship. Deputies also learned he placed an 11-year-old girl into a headlock 10 days earlier.

Wallin is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and assault.
