Mokane woman pleads guilty to charges in deadly DWI crash

A Mokane woman pleaded guilty Monday in Callaway County to charges stemming from a deadly crash in August 2014.

54-year-old Lori Conner pleaded guilty to second degree vehicular assault and first degree manslaughter for the crash that killed 27-year-old Chad Fleischmann.

Conner admitted she was driving drunk on Highway CC near Fulton last August when she hit a truck head on.

Witnesses reported seeing Conner driving erratically on CC when she crossed the center lane and then back again before hitting the truck.

The driver of the truck received serious injuries in the crash. Fleischmann, the passenger in the truck, died at the scene.

Conner was sentenced to 7 years in prison for vehicular assault and 15 years for involuntary manslaughter.
