Boil order in effect for Auxvasse
Some Callaway County residents are under a boil order after losing water Tuesday.
Some streets in Auxvasse, including Pine, Prairie, North Mary, Morgan, and North Elm, are under a boil order until further notice.
The city issued the order after making service connections to new water lines in the area.
The work forced crews to shut off water on the northeast side of town for several hours.
City officials said they will lift the boil order when water samples show there is no longer any contamination.
