DWI checkpoint planned in Mid-Missouri

Boone County officials are stepping up efforts to find drunk drivers in Columbia and Boone County.

The Boone Co. Sheriff’s Department announced it’s holding a DWI checkpoint sometime overnight between Thursday and next Monday.

The checkpoint is funded through a grant from the state.
