Eldon woman charged in major meth bust in Miller Co.

An Eldon woman was arrested last month after officers found a large amount of meth at her house.

Court documents said officers arrived at Tammy Boyd’s home at 1204 S. Walnut on May 16, and she ran out the back door carrying a black case.

Officers met her at the back of the house, where she dropped the case, which held 45 grams of meth, along with a glass pipe and a bottle of pills.

Inside the house, officers found a zipper bag with a set of digital scales, a large number of small zip-lock baggies, and a small metal spoon.

Boyd admitted that all of the drugs and paraphernalia belonged to her.

Boyd was on probation for felony possession of a controlled substance.

Boyd is charged with possession and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.
