One lane of I-70 WB closed in Cooper Co. for road repairs
Drivers in Mid-Missouri should be aware of a lane closure on I-70 in Cooper Co.
One lane of westbound I-70 in Cooper County is closed from mile marker 111 to 113.2 for emergency pavement repair.
The work is taking place about one mile west of the Missouri River bridge.
Pavement has popped up in the area of the closure.
Repairs were scheduled to resume Tuesday night, but MoDOT is closing the lane early as a safety precaution.
The work is taking place to prepare for resurfacing, which is expected to start in July.
Traffic delays are expected in the area.
