Three men hospitalized after early morning Columbia crash

Three men remain in the hospital after a car flipped on its side in west Columbia Sunday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report said at 1:28 a.m., a car driven northbound by 32-year-old Jarryl Jones went off the side of Strawn Road, just north of West Worley Street. As the car rotated, it hit the edge of a driveway and flipped onto its side. Jones, along with Sean and Saroeun Sorm, ages 42 and 33, respectively, went to the hospital with serious injuries.

A hospital manager said both Jones and Sean Sorm were in fair condition, while Saroeun was in critical condition. None of the three wore a seat belt during the crash, the Highway Patrol’s report of the incident said.
