Fulton man behind bars again for running from police

A Fulton man who has previously been arrested for leading police on two high-speed car chases is behind bars once again.

Fulton police pulled over Clayton Craddock, 30, after he failed to stop at a stop sign in Fulton around 10:30 Friday night. Craddock resisted arrest and took off from police. Fulton police caught Craddock and took him into custody.

Police found a weapon on Craddock along with marijuana and drug paraphernalia. In his car, authorities found methamphetamine, suspected prescription narcotics and marijuana — all packaged for distribution.

Craddock was arrested for possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, unlawful use of a weapon, felony resisting arrest and assault on law enforcement.

Craddock is in the Callaway County Jail on a $35,000 cash only bond.
