Jefferson City officials talk transportation fares

Officials in Jefferson City talked about transportation fares at a Public Works and Planning Committee meeting.

The group met Thursday morning to talk about raising fares to $1.50 per ride.

The committee also got an update on work currently underway at the Jefferson City Memorial Airport.

The airport closed last month for runway rehabilitation, and it’s not set to reopen until early September,
