Warm, unsettled weather returns this week
Surface high pressure has settled in for the start of the work week, giving us dry and mild weather. As this high pressure area tracks to the east, surface winds will come around to the south, sending warm, moist air into Mid-Missouri.
The upper level winds will shift to the southwest by Wednesday and send waves of low pressure into the Midwest from Wednesday through the weekend. These will bring a chance of showers and t-storms each day through next Monday as they run into moist, unstable air.
The first chance of rain this week moves in Wednesday night through Thursday bringing potential rainfall of .10″ to near I-44 to .75″ near HWY 65 in western Missouri.
