Santios Leake arrested Friday on multiple charges

Thursday night, 36-year-old Santios Leake of Columbia was arrested and charged with unlawful use of a weapon, two counts of child endangerment, third-degree assault and driving on a revoked license.

Boone County Detective Tom O’Sullivan said around 6:40 p.m. Thursday, Leake was on the 1200 block of Player Place, near north east Columbia.

Leake was driving down the street and sped up when approaching two children in the street, a witness said.

Authorities say he then drove up the family’s driveway toward the mother, then backed out and pulled a gun on her.

Columbia Police stopped Leake on Quail Drive, where he was arrested.

Leake is being held in the Boone County Jail.
