Red Cross helping two Mid-Missouri families after fires
The Red Cross Heart of Missouri chapter is helping two families after a fire in Cole County and another in Boone County.
A Cole County family lost their home Tuesday in the 300 block of Carel Road in St. Martins. Volunteers provided food and clothing to the family, and they’re now staying with relatives.
The Red Cross is also helping a Boone Co. couple who lost their home after a fire Monday in the 3400 block of Rangeline St. in Columbia.
Red Cross volunteers gave the couple food, clothing, and personal hygiene items.
They are staying with relatives, and the Red Cross is monitoring their recovery process.
