Culvert work to close Route 179 in Cooper Co. next week
Culvert work will close a Mid-Missouri highway starting next week in Cooper County.
Starting Monday, crews will close Route 179 between Cedar Lane and Highland School Road for pipe replacement.
From Monday through Wednesday MoDOT will replace the first of seven culverts along the road.
The work will close parts of Route 179 for seven weeks, three days a week.
The work is expected to wrap up the week of June 17.
