Bridge replacement begins in Boone Co.

Drivers in Mid-Missouri will need to be prepared for detours in Boone County starting this week for MoDOT work.

MoDOT will begin work to replace the Route OO bridge over Hinkson Creek southeast of Hallsville started Tuesday.

Drivers wanting to around the bridge on Route OO south should travel north on Route OO, south on Route B, east on Route HH, north on Route Z, and north on Route OO.

Drivers wanting to go around the bridge on Route OO north should head south on Route OO, south on Route Z, west on Route HH, north on Route B, and south on Route OO.

Signs with the detour routes will be in place this week before the upcoming work.
