Storms moving across Mid-Missouri cause damage

Storms moving through Mid-Missouri are causing damage in some areas.

A mobile home was crushed by a tree in Centralia after a storm producing damaging winds moved through northern Boone Co.

Centralia Police Chief Dudgeon tells ABC 17 News a tree landed on the mobile home at South Allen and Alco.

Police also tell us tree limbs are down around the city and there are reports of dime and quarter-sized hail.

Steve Hobbs, the Presiding Comissioner of Audrain County, is reporting wind damage near Highway NN and FF.

As of 5:12 p.m. Hobbs was heading to Route J where there are reports of downed power lines.

We’re also hearing of hail North of Mexico and several sightings of rotation.

So far no injuries have been reported.
