Five arrested following MUSTANG drug busts in Cole Co.

Five people were arrested following three separate drug busts in Cole Co. Thursday.

Patricia King is charged with felony possession of meth with intent to distribute.

Nathan Ward is charged with felony possession of meth with intent to distribute, and has been charged for drugs 4 other times, including twice in Cole County, once in Warren, and once in Greene County.

Jodi Heard is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and has already served jail time for Cole Co. drug charges in 2008.

The MUSTANG Drug Task Force, Jefferson City Police SWAT, and Cole County Sheriff’s Department SWAT teams went to three different homes for search warrants.

In the 200 block of Belair Drive, two people were arrested and investigators took meth from the house.

In the 600 block of Norris Drive, two people were arrested and meth along with stolen items were recovered.

One person was arrested in the 5100 block of Tanner Bridge Road, and it’s unclear what investigators took from that home.

No one was injured during the search warrants, and all of those cases are still under investigation.
