Man accused of hitting woman with his car

A Columbia man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly hitting a woman with a car.

34-year-old Jerol Lee apparently got into an argument with a woman he had a previous relationship with in the 3300 block of Dove Drive.

Lee became violently angry at the woman and began damaging her property.

Lee damaged the woman’s front door handle and punched the passenger mirror off of her car and kicked the front passenger window out.

Lee got into his car and accelerated very quickly, hitting the woman in the legs, then left the area.

Lee returned and then began hitting the woman’s car with her three children inside.

Lee was arrested for three counts of first degree endangering the welfare of a child, first degree property damage, and second degree domestic assault.

Lee is currently in the Boone County Jail on $13,500 total bond.
