Police looking for third suspect in Moberly bank robbery

Tonight, police are asking for your help finding a third suspect in a Mid-Missouri bank robbery that happened last August.

The FBI said Jeremy Burnett, 21, is wanted for the armed robbery of Bank Midwest in Moberly last August.

In January, a grand jury indicted two other men, Clarance Williams, 25, and Daniel Rudroff, 24, for their role in the bank robbery.

According to court records, Burnett has been convicted on a dozen other charges.

In October 2012, police said Burnett turned himself in and confessed to robbing three Columbia businesses the month before. Those were Phillips 66 on Providence, the Petro Mart on Rangeline and the adult store Passions. Police said surveillance video connected him to all three. And he later pleaded guilty to the robberies in court.

A judge sentenced him to ten years in prison for those robberies. About a year later, he was released on probation after completing a long-term drug treatment last July. That was exactly a month before the Bank Midwest robbery in Moberly.

Burnett also pleaded guilty to nine misdemeanor charges from April 2011 to February 2013. Those include assault charges, resisting arrest, property damage and more.

Last September, a warrant was also issued for Burnett for violating his probation.

And Friday, he remains a fugitive.
