Police searching for suspects after more graffiti is found

The Columbia Police Department is searching for more people responsible for vandalism downtown.

CPD said since last Wednesday, more than 30 spots of graffiti have shown up in the area.

The new graffiti spells the phrases “Krep” and “Yini.”

Police added overnight patrols and are reviewing surveillance video to find more suspects.

Police already arrested two men.

Graffiti has already been found with the word “Brew” painted on downtown areas.

CPD said since February 25, they have found the new graffiti behind the businesses in the 900 block of east Broadway on 7th Street, 8th Street, Locust, and more.

There have also been reports of vandalism on the Mizzou campus.

If you have any information, you’re asked to call the Columbia Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 573-875-TIPS to remain anonymous.
