Three arrested after investigators find cocaine in Jefferson City home
Three people were arrested Friday following a drug search warrant in Jefferson City.
The Jefferson City Police SWAT team and MUSTANG Drug Task Force searched a home at 217 Center St. Friday morning.
Captain Doug Shoemaker at the Jefferson City Police Department said in order to do drug busts like this they need help from surrounding agencies like SWAT and the Drug Task Force.
“I don’t think we would be as effective if we didn’t have the cooperative effort that has continued for so many years under this task force in particular. So, we’ll continue to do that and stay aggressive and go after these folks,” said Shoemaker.
Detectives found about 120 grams of crack cocaine, 21 grams of powder cocaine, and two handguns. One of those guns had been reported stolen in the Capital City.
40-year-old Charles Jackson was arrested for drug trafficking, unlawful possession of a firearm, and receiving stolen property.
Two others were also arrested during the search warrant.
30-year-old Stephanie Sandfort was arrested for possession of heroin and is in the Cole Co. Jail on $25,000 bond.
37-year-old Adrian Fultz was arrested for distribution and possession of heroin.
