Measurable rain expected Wednesday into Thursday

Measurable rain is expected to move into Mid-Missouri early Wednesday afternoon as a low pressure system develops over south Texas Tuesday, and pulls northeast.

Rain will move in from southwest Missouri late Wednesday morning into the early afternoon, impacting the Lake of the Ozarks area first.

Steady rain continues through Wednesday night, becoming more light and scattered by Thursday.

Most of this rain will taper off by Thursday night, leaving scattered clouds and warmer temperatures in the 60s for Friday.

The highest rain totals will be in southwest Missouri, and decrease further north.

The Lake of the Ozarks area could see between 0.5″ and 0.7″, 0.2″ to 0.5″ for areas between Highway 50 and I-70, and up to 0.1″ north of HWY 24 from Wednesday through Thursday.
