Two arrested in Sedalia drug bust

Law enforcement officers reported finding meth, marijuana and prescription drugs at a home in Sedalia early Thursday. Sedalia Police Department officers and Pettis County Sheriff’s deputies worked together to execute a search warrant at a home in the 3000 block of Meadow Wood Drive shortly before 1 a.m.

Inside the home, a K-9 search dog alerted its handler to the presence of drugs throughout the building. The search turned up methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription drugs, paraphernalia and packaging materials. Police also reported finding cash believed to be profits from drug sales. A child was in the house at the time of the search.

Two people were arrested as a result of the investigation. Benjamin Delinger, 36, and Jennifer Woolery, 40, were taken to jail on suspicion of drug possession and child endangerment. Delinger also faces a charge of drug trafficking.
